Course
Run on Grand Island in Lake Superior near Munising. All distances follow the island perimeter trail counterclockwise over single track, two track and narrow dirt roads, through hardwood forest and hemlock tunnels, past 300-foot sandstone cliffs and the sandy beaches of Trout Bay. The half marathon has two aid stations, the marathon four to five and the 50K five; runners must carry a bottle.
