Course
The 5K runs almost entirely off-road along the Greenbelt Trail, crossing the historic Elm Fork Bridge and taking in the equestrian trails. The 10K covers similar ground with sections more technical than the standard Greenbelt surface. A 1 Mile Fun Run loops the festival area. Strollers are not permitted because so much of the course is unpaved.

About
GreenFest on the Greenbelt is an event centered around health, wellness, and recreation. There will be food and activities for the whole family including food trucks, vendors, and music. The 1 Mile Fun Run will be around the festival area for all of the spectators to enjoy. The 5K is a good introduction to off-road running/walking. The 10K is for those who are a little more adventurous and serves as a good introduction to trail running/walking.
