Wild Canyon Ultra

Course

Rocky singletrack looping through Caprock Canyons State Park at Quitaque, starting and finishing at the Lake Theo tent camping area. The route drops to the canyon floor and climbs back to the cliff tops through red rock country, past prairie dog towns and the Texas State Bison Herd. Four aid stations serve the loop, at the start/finish, Canyon Loop trailhead, Honey Flat and Fern Cave.

The Wild Canyon Ultra offers 50K, 25K, 10K and 5K trail races through Caprock Canyons State Park near Quitaque, Texas. Runners cross rugged red-rock canyon terrain in the Texas Panhandle, an area also known for its dark night skies.
