Loop course on hard-packed dirt horse trails in Griffith Park, starting and finishing on grass near the Merry Go Round lot, with one brief street crossing. The 5K is one loop, the 10K two and the 15K three; the half marathon runs three 4.37-mile loops. One aid station at the turnaround has water, Gatorade and gels.
