About
The Itabashi City Marathon follows the flat Arakawa riverbank in Tokyo, departing from Funado and returning via the Arakawa Ohashi bridge near Komatsugawa. Founded in 1998 as the Arakawa Citizen Marathon, it predates the Tokyo Marathon and is known for a generous 7-hour limit and high finish rate.
