Lakeland Trails Helvellyn

Course

Trail races starting and finishing at Jenkins Field beside Ullswater. Routes climb through ancient woodland to elevated panoramic views over the lake and surrounding fells. Mainly scenic trail with short sections of tarmac; footing is generally good for off-road runners but tricky in places. Gates on the course may be unstaffed.
