Starts and finishes at the Lincolnshire Showground, with the 13.1-mile route running into the centre of Lincoln past Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral. Water stations are placed at regular intervals, with energy stations serving isotonic drinks and gels. The course is undulating rather than flat.
