Course

USATF-certified half marathon starting and finishing at the corner of Washington and 6th Street by the Old State Capitol plaza in Springfield, Illinois. The route runs city streets past Washington Park, the Lincoln Home, Oak Ridge Cemetery and Lincoln Park. Six water stops sit at miles 1, 3, 6, 7, 9 and 11, with Gatorade at four of them and gels at mile 6.
