Meridian Hydro Half Marathon

Course

Point-to-point 21 km starting at Kepler Farm, the original Manapouri hydro construction village site, and finishing at Steamers Beach on the Te Anau lakefront. The route follows the Waiau River through native beech forest, mixing trail with sections of road and 4WD track over undulating terrain. Five water stations and six toilet stops, with electrolyte mix on course.

About

The Meridian Hydro Half Marathon is known for its spectacular Fiordland backdrops and scenery. It was created by the Fiordland Trails Trust to raise funds to expand the trail network and maintain the existing Lake2Lake Trail.
