Course
A point-to-point road 10K from Blackstock Street in Liverpool to Ian Fraser Walk in New Brighton, starting at 9:30am. The route drops into the Kingsway Tunnel at 1K and runs just over 3K underground before surfacing on the Wirral side, then follows Dock Road and the Seacombe promenade with views back across the Mersey to the Liverpool skyline. The first half is largely downhill.

The Mersey Tunnel 10K sends runners beneath the River Mersey through the Queensway Tunnel, linking Liverpool and Birkenhead. The tunnel is closed to traffic for the race, giving a unique underground stretch to an otherwise city-centre course.
