Course
An undulating half marathon starting and finishing at Merthyr College, looping around Merthyr Tydfil and the surrounding countryside using the Trevithick Trail and the Taff Trail. It runs predominantly on road and tarmac with a small trail section, and carries a four-hour cutoff. Mini and junior fun runs precede the main race.

The Merthyr Half Marathon runs through Merthyr Tydfil, on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales. It's organised by Merthyr Running Club as one of the town's key annual road races.
