Both races start from 177 Main Street in Monson. The half marathon runs a USATF-certified course (MA15024JK) and starts at 12:00 pm; the 5K sets off at 11:15 am.

About
Started in 1996 to honor sisters Kelly Waldron and Kathy Waldron Perry, who died of cancer eight months apart, the race raises funds for Griffin's Friends, which supports children with cancer. The USATF-certified half marathon includes prize money for winners and a post-race party with live music.
