Course
A mountain trail race up Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales, starting from Storey Arms. The 13-mile route takes in steep climbs and rocky trail for around 4,097ft of ascent; the 5-mile option climbs about 1,765ft. Mountain kit including a hydration pack, emergency blanket and weather protection is required.

The Off The Tarmac Pen Y Fan Challenge offers a 5 or 13 mile trail run, with both routes taking in the Pen y Fan summit. The routes are signposted and marshalled, with water and sweets provided at the end of the 5 miler and at a checkpoint on the 13 mile route.
