Course
Two out-and-back trail courses on Te Mata Peak. The 12.8km starts at Havelock North Primary, climbs through Tainui Reserve to the summit and returns by the same route; the 3.5km Tainui Trail starts at Tainui Reserve, climbs into the trails and returns along Joll Road to finish at the school. Both are trail underfoot with steady climbing.
