175-mile, 36-leg relay for teams of 12, running from Twin Bridges to Virginia City, Montana, largely on road including the Pioneer Mountain Scenic Byway. Rolling hills give way to a crossing of the Pioneers, with about 13,000 feet of cumulative climb and 11,000 feet of descent.
