Course
Three trail races on the Flete Estate in South Devon, sharing private footpaths beside the quiet Erme estuary, bridle paths and coast path. The marathon runs along Bigbury beach and crosses the causeway to Burgh Island. Each race has a tidal crossing to beat — at 7 miles on the shorter courses, 20 miles on the marathon — so a 4 mph average is needed. Fully marked and marshalled, with two to four aid stations by distance.
