About
After years away, one of Clemson's most legendary races is finally making a comeback! The RC & MoonPie Presidential Downhill Mile is a fast, fun, and uniquely Southern tradition where runners take on a one-mile downhill sprint—with a sweet challenge. Before the race starts, participants will gather on the sidewalk outside the president's house and get sent off by a very special guest. At the start line, they will eat their first moonpie and then be sent off by the Death Valley Cannon down HWY-93. At the halfway mark (Sikes Hall), they eat another MoonPie and drink an ice-cold cola before making their final push to the finish, where their final cola or a celebratory beer (21+) awaits as their reward.
