Course
A point-to-point road race along a single arterial road, starting on Via Cristoforo Colombo in Rome's EUR district and finishing at Piazzale Cristoforo Colombo by the sea at Ostia. Smooth asphalt and wide curves throughout. The one real climb comes between 10 and 14 km at gradients up to 3%, followed by a descent and a gentle run-in to the coast.

About
The RomaOstia Half Marathon runs point-to-point from Rome's EUR district out to the seafront at Ostia, following Via Cristoforo Colombo for almost its whole length. A single climb between 10 and 14 km breaks up an otherwise flat or falling course, which is why it draws personal-best hunters from across Italy each year.
