Course
Both races start and finish at Victoria Park and set off at 09:15 on closed roads. The shared opening runs up Leicester's Golden Mile; the half marathon continues out to Birstall around the eight-mile mark, then returns through Watermead Park and Abbey Park and the city centre. The course is largely flat aside from a rise near mile eight and the closing climb up New Walk.
