Course

Races at Whitelee Wind Farm near Eaglesham, south-west of Glasgow, over 10K, half marathon, 50K ultra and a junior mile. The routes follow the wind farm's access tracks, a firm surface suited to road runners moving onto trail, though sections can be muddy, wet and rough underfoot, especially on the 50K.

Run The Blades is a trail running event held exclusively within the UK's largest onshore wind farm, Whitelee Wind Farm. Runners can enjoy stunning scenery through mixed moorland and forest, passing majestic wind turbines along the way.
