Course
A lollipop loop of about seven miles with roughly 1,500 ft of climb per lap, starting and finishing at the upper Lazy V car park in Staunton State Park. The route climbs Old Mill Trail to Mason Creek, follows Mason Creek to Bear Paw, descends Bear Paw back to Mason Creek and returns via Old Mill. The winter course is largely snow and ice covered, and a heated tent at the start/finish is race HQ and the main aid station.
