The Rock Ultra

Course

Mountain trail races on Paarl Mountain in the Paarl Rock Nature Reserve, starting and finishing at the race village by the Taal Monument. Routes cross exposed granite, fynbos and open mountain terrain, with marked courses and aid stations on every distance from 5km to the overnight 100km.

The Rock Ultra is a trail ultramarathon centred on Paarl Mountain in the Western Cape, with distances from 5km up to the flagship 100km Rock Ultra. Routes such as the Boulder Challenge and the Klippie take in the reserve's giant granite boulders.
