The Volta Internacional da Pampulha circles Lake Pampulha in Belo Horizonte, past the modernist buildings Oscar Niemeyer designed around its shores, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. One of Brazil's most traditional road races, it has run for decades on this lakeside loop.
