White Peak Marathon Festival

Course

Linear marathon from Thorpe to Cromford Meadows on converted rail trails, run on firm compacted limestone and cinder. The route follows the Tissington Trail north to Parsley Hay, then the undulating High Peak Trail, joining the half marathon course at Friden. It closes with a steep mile-long drop to High Peak Junction and a canal towpath finish. Registration and parking are at Cromford Wharf, with coaches to the start.
