Course

Five identical 20-mile loops in the mountains above Honolulu, linking the Manoa, Makiki and Nuuanu valleys with three aid stations a lap. The footing is 99% single track on packed soil laced with roots, rocks, puddles and mud, and there are 20 stream crossings. Total climb is about 24,500 ft, with a 36-hour limit.

HURT 100 is a trail ultramarathon run entirely within Honolulu, Hawaii, looping through the muddy, rooted rainforest trails of the Tantalus, Makiki, and Manoa valleys. It is regarded as one of the most technical 100-mile courses in the world.
