A 6.71km lap repeated on the hour under backyard ultra rules, starting from Barge Showgrounds in Whangārei. The loop runs across maintained showground fields into neighbouring sheep paddocks, mixing grass, farm track, single trail, gravel road and short sealed sections, and passes creekside native bush. Each lap climbs roughly 100m.
