Course
A looped mountain trail course starting and finishing at Parkwood Outdoors, Dolygaer, near Merthyr Tydfil. The marathon climbs Pen y Fan from Graig Fan Ddu, crosses Fan y Big and finishes over Tor y Foel above Talybont Reservoir, with 1,492 m of ascent; the 10 mile shares the opening section then returns on forestry tracks. Three checkpoints on the marathon and compulsory kit for both.
