Course
A 30-mile loop from the Bothy Heritage Centre in Cyfarthfa Park, Merthyr Tydfil. The route follows the Taff Trail north to Beacons Reservoir, climbs Pen y Fan, descends Jacob's Ladder to the Roman Road and returns through forestry tracks and the Taf Fechan nature reserve, with about 1,143 m of climb. Five checkpoints, four with food and water.
