Course
A 38-mile unmarked circuit of Helvellyn from Askham Community Centre, with around 2,000m of ascent on footpaths, bridleways and minor lanes - runners navigate for themselves. Eight checkpoints line the route, including Martindale Church, Side Farm and Swirls car park. Starts are self-selected between 7am and 9.30am.

An overnight winter ultramarathon through the fells around Helvellyn in the Lake District, starting from Askham. Runners navigate rugged mountain terrain through darkness and cold, with distance and route-finding testing even experienced ultra runners.
